Privacy Policy

Apps covered: Seren+Aid (Solfeggio & Binaural), Masquer+Aid (Tinnitus sound therapy), and other mobile apps we publish under the same policy.

1. Introduction

This policy describes how we handle information when you use our apps (“the Apps”, “we”, “us”). We aim to protect your privacy and be transparent.

Seren+Aid is a sound-based wellbeing app (Solfeggio frequencies and binaural content). Masquer+Aid is a tinnitus sound therapy tool (masking, calibration, and optional notched / sleep modes). Unless an app page says otherwise, the practices below apply to all Apps listed at the top of this policy.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not operate user accounts in these Apps and we do not intentionally collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact details (unless you email us voluntarily)
• Precise location
• Advertising IDs for ad tracking
• Behavioural analytics or crash analytics SDKs (we do not embed analytics or ad SDKs in the Apps described here)
• Cookies in a web-browser sense inside the native app shell
• Health records or clinical data sent to our servers

3. Data stored on your device

Certain Apps store settings only on your device (for example using local storage or equivalent APIs in the app runtime). This may include:

• Premium / unlock status — a simple flag indicating whether you have purchased optional content, so the App can enable features without signing in.
• Preferences — for example calibration or playback-related values needed for the App to function (e.g. frequency calibration in Masquer+Aid).

This on-device data is not transmitted to our servers by the App for the purposes above. You can remove it by deleting the App or clearing app data in your device settings (steps vary by platform).

4. In-app purchases

Optional purchases may be available.

• Apple App Store (iOS / iPadOS): Payments and receipts are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s practices are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Play (Android): Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google’s practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Network access and third parties

Some Apps may use the network for limited purposes, for example:

• Store billing — to complete or restore purchases via Apple or Google.
• Fonts or other static assets — if an App loads a font from a third-party host (e.g. Google Fonts), that provider may receive standard technical data (such as IP address) as part of the request, under their own policy.

We do not sell personal data. Apart from Apple/Google for purchases and any third-party font or asset host you load by using the App, we do not share user data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Permissions

Permissions vary by App and platform. They are used only to support audio playback, purchases, or keeping the session active where applicable (for example wake lock on Android). We do not use permissions to read your contacts, photos, or microphone for recording unless a future App explicitly states otherwise in its store listing and this policy.

7. Children’s privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate accounts or collect personal data through these Apps as described above, limited data scenarios apply.

8. International users

If you use our Apps outside the United Kingdom, your information may be processed in the country where you use the device and by Apple or Google as part of purchases, in line with their policies.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Apps after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
